Nyāya (DISTINGUISHING and DECIDING) Pattern of Consciousness and Flavor of Bliss
I see one of the most important factors for anyone’s success is experiencing the blissful flavor of Nyāya Vedic Literature mantras, the distinguishing and deciding pattern of consciousness. Nyāya has a one-to-one correlation of structure and function with the thalamus, the brain’s connecting point between inner and outer stimuli, determining which state of consciousness we are in and what we are conscious of; its intelligence comprehensively integrates specific values of action, behavior, motivation and perception; it relays sensory inputs back and forth, between the cerebellum, basal ganglia and the primary and higher order motor regions of the frontal lobe, as well as for autonomic reactions and maintenance of consciousness.
The thalamus’ strong involvement in maintaining alertness, likens Nyāya to a “lamp at the door,” shinning in both the inner and outer aspects of life—the Self and the non-self, holistic and specific, intelligence and matter, physiology and consciousness. English translation of Nyāya is justice, and it makes the thalamus the home of justice between incoming sensory perception and one’s intellectual initiation of action (of great importance in AABC). Maharishi also explains Nyāya as the nothingness between the inside Self and outside non-self, unfolding what is hidden from view; and that locating this “lamp at the door” is a science of the inside in terms of outside; like finding the mistaken vision of a snake in a string or finding the mistaken vision of the need for control when one is attached to the fruit of his or her action (of great importance in AABC).
Nyāya is an established intellect, or one light, not two, inside and outside. And it is an example of how my Maharishi Vedic Science education justly unfolds the reality of Natural Law ruling in all directions within the territory of Brahm (totality). For example, reading Nyāya Sanskrit, my entire physiological functioning, and especially in and surrounding my liver, where I have had chronic imbalance, felt tingling—healing, and more sublimely content like having spent quality time with an old friend.
