VEDANT (LIVELY ABSOLUTE) Pattern of Consciousness and Flavor of Bliss
VEDANT, the Lively Absolute of Vedic Literature, English translation begins with: “Now from here, the desire to know Brahman.” And Maharishi’s “Commentary on Vashishta’s Cognition: Self and Non-Self,” explains the envy of both the Self (Absolute non-changing immortality) and non-self (Relative ever changing, expanding universe) being resolved by someone already in Cosmic Consciousness desiring the highest, most glorified, state of enlightenment or Knowledge.
For an individual Unity Consciousness, evolution flows to Brahman Consciousness in Soma (immortality) nectar destroying the ever changing non-self so the lotus of the Absolute rises from the mud of the Relative. And likewise in the transition from Cosmic Consciousness to God Consciousness to Unity Consciousness, the Self delightfully extends its non-changing value, to the ever changing non-self, so that it becomes lively in Its own unbounded impulses of Being, in Its own vision.
Reading VEDANT, integrated my whole physiological functioning in the direction of Lively Absolute; I felt a faint flavor of it after reading VEDANT for 15-20 minutes at 5:00 AM one morning, and I laid down with a profound balance and wholeness slowly rising and falling like a tide throughout my body.
